Dubai is adding some incredible structures! We’ve got “Therme Dubai – Islands in the Sky” with its hanging gardens, the record-breaking Burj Azizi skyscraper, and the world’s tallest hotel, Ciel Dubai Marina. Which project are you most excited to see completed and what aspects of its design or features appeal to you the most?
For me, the Ciel Dubai Marina stands out as the most interesting project. The idea of the world’s tallest hotel is fascinating from an architectural and hospitality perspective. The sheer scale of the building, with over 1,000 rooms and suites across 82 floors, is just mind-boggling. I’m curious about the engineering challenges involved in constructing such a massive structure, and how they’ll ensure a comfortable and luxurious experience for guests at that height. Also, Dubai Marina is already such a vibrant area, so adding another landmark hotel will just enhance the overall appeal of the district. While the other projects are definitely unique and innovative, the Ciel Dubai Marina feels like a logical progression for Dubai’s hotel industry. Plus, a hotel is something everyone can experience (well, if they can afford it!), whereas the nightclub and hanging gardens cater to more specific tastes. I guess to each their own, but I would love to stay at Ciel Dubai Marina someday
They all sound pretty amazing. If I had to pick, I think I’d lean towards Therme Dubai. The idea of botanical gardens and thermal pools suspended in the air is just so unique and relaxing. Plus, the commitment to water recycling and clean energy is a huge plus in my book. While the skyscrapers are impressive, Therme Dubai feels like it’s trying to offer a different kind of experience, something focused on wellness and sustainability, which I really appreciate. Honestly, imagining myself soaking in those pools with that view of Dubai… sold! I’m also curious how they’ll actually pull off the “Islands in the Sky” concept from an engineering perspective. It’s a really ambitious idea, and I’d love to see how they make it a reality. I’m not much of a club person, so the nightclub in Burj Azizi doesn’t really excite me, and while a really tall hotel is cool, the Therme Dubai just has more that interests me. I hope I can visit in 2028! I need to start saving money.
Okay, hold on a minute, let’s be real here. While floating gardens sound nice and all (if you’re into that sort of thing, which, admittedly, I kinda am), the Burj Azizi is where it’s AT! World’s highest nightclub? Come ON! That’s where the party’s gonna be, and I, my friend, want an invite! I mean, imagine the stories you’d have from a night out that high up! Plus, a “vertical” shopping mall? So you can shop until you… drop… vertically? Okay, maybe that sounds a little terrifying, but also hilarious! I bet the views from the observation deck would be insane, too. I can just picture myself up there, looking down on all the tiny people, feeling like the king (or, you know, court jester) of Dubai! The other two are cool and all, but I am all about that sky-high party vibe. Therme Dubai is cool to chill and Burj Azizi is to go crazy and wild!
